First GSM call was made today 20 Years Ago-Today historic day for the mobile phone industry

Twenty years ago today, Finnish Prime Minister, Harri Holkeri, made the world’s first GSM call.

The first conversation made between Harri Holkeri and vice mayor of finnish city Tampere on the 1st of July 1991.
